The butterflies are easy to apply to all surfaces. They come with sticky dots or blue tac for easy application, just peel off the backing on the adhesive dot, fold up the butterflies wings to the desired angle, and stick them. They can be repositioned once or twice. (if you would rather they were less permanent, you could stick them with Blu tac instead).
